
Respect Counselling provide both traditional face to face counselling and private online e-counselling to clients in the North West. You can register for e-counselling using the link at the top of the page. Our e-counselling system provides a password protected private counselling system, there is no need to provide personal details and responses to questions are left in your private in-box.

The Hypnotherapy/Mentoring/Counselling services of Respect, offers you an opportunity to explore any difficulties you are experiencing in your personal life.
It provides therapists/counsellors, who are professionally trained to facilitate through listening without judging, advising or telling you what to do. Instead, as professional therapists/counsellors, they will help you explore issues and feelings within hypnotherapy & counselling enhancement that may help you to understand and come to terms with difficulties that can or cannot be changed.
Respect recognises and respects the sensitivity of the confidentiality of each client’s personal information. Such as client’s names, addresses, and details of their life and circumstances that might result in identification, therefore, client’s details remain confidential. Except in Exceptional Circumstances.
When it is necessary to break Confidentiality, this may only occur when the therapists/counsellors have very good reasons/grounds to believe clients/client will cause serious harm to him/her self or others, or that children are at serious risk. Therapist/Counsellors will make clear to clients why, how and where records are kept.
Respects Hypnotherapy/Mentoring/Counselling service provides an introductory session free of charge that will provide an opportunity for you to ask questions. In addition, an opportunity for you to explore your commitment to addressing needs within a mentoring/counselling relationship.
Respect, working professionalism is underpinned by making it clear to clients that they may consult his/her physician in order to gain their permission about their health and well being, before therapy begins.
Also during this session, therapists encourage clients to discuss their different phobias and any other ailments that could cause the clients concern during therapy.
And to explore their expectations very clearly, as this interactive process is a helping process, one in which clients have the right to end the process at any time, if they feel it is the right time to end a counselling relationship for what ever reason.
Making it clear to clients that they and their physician, more than anyone know what is the best decision concerning their health.
Fees and donations for Hypnotherapy/Psychotherapy/Counselling will be discussed with the Therapist/Counsellor at this session. In addition, why it is important your Therapist/Counsellor should know as early as possible if appointments cannot be kept. Respect Therapists agrees to treat sensitively personal information such as the clients name, address and other details by respecting the clients right to confidentiality.
The breaking of confidentiality will only be made in very exceptional circumstances, where Respect has good reasons to believe the client is at very serious risk of causing harm to him/her self or others, and most importantly when children are at risk. Respect limit to confidentiality is based on the ethics of the BAC and the guidance of British Law.
This includes the Child Protection Act, Children Act, (1989) Human Right Act, (1989) Race Amendment Act (2000) and to afford equal opportunity to help all clients to access the professionalism and care of Respect therapists and practitioners best professional ability.
Our Therapists/Counsellors use their professionalism to help young people and young offenders, their parents and other members of community to understand the process of substance misuse.
People or groups, are/were exposed, to/use different substances that are legal (Alcohol) and illegal (Cannabis, Cocaine, Heroin, Ecstasy, LSD, Amphetamines and other substances).
We also work with individuals who are exposed to/have been physical/sexual/psychological abuse/abused.
We offer training in diversity management skills, understanding race relation in B.E.M. communities, social and care skills.
